When we read through Miss C’s words, we were surprised to hear how nervous she was beforehand! How could anyone that nervous end up being so incredible in front of the camera? Since our studio is chill and all about lifting everyone up, she was able to work through those nerves super fast, and ended up with a bunch of images that blew her mind.
Q: Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a Boudoir Session?
A: Was I going to look like all these women? Could I do the poses? Would I feel the beauty that the other women exude? Would I feel comfortable where this is out of my comfort zone? Basically any fear a woman could have was in my head
Q: What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a Boudoir Session?
A: It was time to rip the band-aid of hesitation off. I was in a negative head space with body image at that time in my life.
Q: How did the Session make you feel?
A: The session made me feel beautiful. I was able to laugh at myself (stupid heels) and I was able to finally see what my fiancé sees in me every day.
Q: Did anything surprise you?
A: I was surprised at how comfortable I was. I was able to laugh at my inability to walk in heels, I was able to feel more comfortable than I thought with posing. I felt sexy for once in my life. I never get naked, even at home I shy away, yet somehow yesterday that inhibition went away. I enjoyed it so much.
Q: Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
A: I finally saw myself the way my fiancé sees me. We as women are so hard on ourselves, yet I was able to look at myself in a completely new light. When the photos were revealed I cried. I didn't even see the flaws, I saw the beauty of me. It took my breath away. I honestly would have been ok if they were not retouched. Kelli has a way of knowing how to show the real you. My curves came through, and I felt gorgeous. I walked around with more confidence knowing what I did even though my fiancé has no idea. I think about my shoot and want to cry happy tears because I finally saw beauty and finally realized, damn, I am sexy.
Q: Anything else you would like to share?
A: I'm so appreciative that I was able to finally see what others see in me. I never saw myself as pretty, never mind sexy. Then I saw the photos and realized even if I need those photos to feel that way, it's ok, because they reflect how my fiancé sees me Every. Damn. Day. And to finally see myself in his eyes is amazing.
