A boudoir experience at our studio in New Hampshire is definitely an investment - but an investment well made. Some of our clients are on pre-payment plans for a year to two years before their session so that when it’s time to come in, they can just sit back and relax, knowing that they’re all set. Miss L knew that the experience was a “must” and it doubled as a gift for her fiance.
She experienced some nerves, but most clients do! Once we started chatting and discussing outfits, the ball was rolling and she fell into the process with ease. The biggest thing we ask of our clients is to trust us. Know that we have your back throughout the entire experience and will do everything we can to make you comfortable. When you allow us to? Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
“Yes! The thought of being naked or almost naked in front of people. Honestly, a few weeks leading up to my shoot I was regretting my decision to do a shoot because of fear. I was way more comfortable than I thought I’d be!”
What made you want to experience a boudoir experience? How did your boudoir session make you feel?
“Wedding gift for my Fiance. I've been telling him I would do it for years.”
Did anything surprise you?
“Only how comfortable I was - I was able to just let loose and follows the directions Kelli gave.”
What would your advice to others be?
“There’s so much nonchalance in the studio that by the time hair and makeup was done, my nerves were gone! I think it’s easy to get in your head about all this, but Kelli made me so comfortable.”
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
“Not necessarily, but I’m so glad that I had this experience!”
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
“This is definitely something you want to do for a special occasion. It was completely worth saving up for!”
We agree, Miss L! While we encourage everyone to get in the studio at least once for themselves, sometimes a special occasion is what starts the bug. Once you see what this experience is like, we hope you’ll be just as addicted as we are!
