Here at Boudoir by Kelli, we know that boudoir is out of MOST client’s comfort zone, so we strive to make sure that everything is up front and out in the open before we even begin shooting. We know that you’re dealing with uncertainty and body image issues (because, let’s face it, society has made existing as a woman VERY difficult). We also know that spending money on yourself is a whole thing.
Here’s the answer to all of that: It is 100% worth it to do this for yourself and we promise not to let you fail! It might be out of your comfort zone - that’s normal! We’re here to guide you through everything and our studio is set up to provide maximum comfort. We have your back!
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
“The biggest obstacle was body image and the fear that goes with feeling exposed. I was also nervous about the financial side, but having the option to make payments toward package purchase was great! ”
Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?
“After years in a bad relationship I decided it was time for me to do something for me.”
Did anything surprise you?
“I didn't expect it to be so much work! LOL, holding some of those poses was really tough!
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
“I stopped seeing myself as pretty after my 30's---Seeing myself in Kelli's photos made me feel pretty.”
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
“Just do it! This photo shoot was so outside of my "wheelhouse" it was a chance to see myself in a light that I have never seen myself in! I would and have already told friends about how freeing it was.”
